Why is it so painful to use the restroom?
For the past 7 months or so, i’ve been having a problem with my bowel movements. Its been an off an on again issue that it starting to affect my life.
It starts with a pain or discomfort in my midsection a day before the bowel movement. When I go, it hurts my lower stomach EXCRUCIATINGLY. I break into a cold, clammy sweat and become nauseous with the pain. On one occasion I ended up losing consciousness…The bowel movements were not solid, but was not diarrhea either. This is defiantly not normal. And its hard for me to talk about it.
Lately, its been getting worse, and i’ve also been accompanied by migraine headaches. I’m not sure if the headaches are a separate problem or if they’re triggered by my bowel problem.
I can’t remember the last time I had a normal solid bowel movement. And i’m scared to go every time I feel the need to…
I’m going to the doctor next week. But I need to know what it could be now…
One symptom could lead to another. Best to let the Dr. run the tests and get an accurate answer. Worrying, will only create more anxiety for you, and you will be nervous wreck by the time you have your appointment.
