I don’t know how to describe it. But it makes me feel like I have to go to the bathroom every 5 seconds. [Not literally but you know what I mean.] PLEASE help me!!

You probably have irritable bowel syndrome. See your doctor especially since it has been going on for so long.

sharp abdominal pain pregnancy

Lower abdominal pain like a sharp twinge and late period: could that be related?

For the last 3 or 4 days I have been having lower abdominal pain like a sharp twinge (I’m guessing around the uterus area). It hurts when I walk, move, or sit down. I am also a little late in my period, but the pregnancy test was negative… what could I possibly have?
I went to my family doctor today: he took a urine test and didn’t find any infection. He is not sure of what it exactly is, that’s why he told me to go get an ultrasound…

Contact you OBGYN … it sounds like a kidney infection or a UTI i’d get checked out… i dont think it has to do with the late period … but who knows Good luck!!

abdominal pain emergency treatment

Free medical treatment?

I am a full time student, unemployed and uninsured.
I have an abdominal pain. Though it is not an emergency
I am looking for early medical treatment.
Since I can not afford, I am frustrated what to do.
Finally, I decided to go to emergency room.
Do you think the hospital will keep their huge bills
and claim for it in the future after my graduation?
In other words, what is the best way to get
free medical treatment or avoid such a bill?

check with your college… its very possible they have some sort of free clinic program for you to use in the future. (sounds like you already went to the emergency room)

Meantime no one waits to hand you a bill, the best thing you can do for existing bills is to explain your situation and work out some kind of payment arrangement… then stick to it. ^_^

stomach pain herbal remedies

chrons or IBS?

for many years i have had issues with my digestive system. it started around puberty; i had these severe pains in my stomach and was always taking antacids. i had many tests done (barium x rays, ultra sounds, blood work etc.) and the doctor came to the conclusion that i had an ulcer and prescribed me some medication. over time, (around grade 9) the problem with my stomach became less severe and i thought maybe i was getting better. but then a whole new problem arised. i started getting a lot of gas (i was constantly bloated which causes me alot of pain) and diarhhea on a daily basis. i used to use the washroom once a day, but recently its been atleast twice a day with constant painful gas.the only thing that helps is smoking marijuana.i even tried herbal remedies and changing my diet. what the heck is wrong with me?

Kinda sounds like what my mother in law has. She has “diverticulitis”, don’t know if that is spelled correctly, but that is the way it sounds. You get little “pockets” in your digestive system, and things get caught in them and causes pain. Can lead to bleeding out the bum also. She has to watch what she eats. Like no sesame seeds, nuts, Doritos, hot dogs because of the skin, tomato’s because of the tiny seeds, strawberry’s because of the tiny seeds. That’s all I can think of now. Anyways, they get caught in the pockets and get inflamed. Mabey check with your doc on that. Good luck.
