burning stomach pain

I have a burning stomach pain, can’t sleep, won’t eat, can’t use bathroom, have the chills?

Last night I didn’t get any sleep. I woke up in the middle of the night with burning stomach pains and felt like I was going to throw up. I haven’t thrown up yet and don’t plan on to. I can’t eat, sleep, use the bathroom, and nothing has helped at all to relieve my pains. The pains are coming from just above the belly-button. I am a little stressed out. I am only 15 years old and I have been starting to get these pains here lately. The pains aren’t that bad during the day, than at night. Can someone please tell me what is going on in my body right now, or tell me where I can get the information on how to attack and make these pains go away. Thank-you!!!!

You really need to go to a doctor, I’m not sure what could be wrong with you but a doctor could give you tips on how to get rid of the pain and meds. I think it could be stress your 15 so in high school? maybe a freshmen? HS can be stressful just try to calm down, it’s not that bad and it flys by like lighting.

upper abdominal pain severe

severe upper abdominal pain?

im a 19 yr old female. and for the last 2 weeks have been having severe upper abdominal pain. it starts beneath my ribs in the centre of my stomach and is a severe stabbing pain, it lasts about 15 minutes (severe) then the pain subsides but is constantly there. it sort of feels like really really bad trapped wind and sometimes it passes and feels a little better, but it always returns. This is worse when i am led down and i usually wake up in the early hours in hurrendouse pain. it doesnt seem to matter if i have eaten or not. but is worse if i am hungry. I have been to hospital on the weekend and saw a doctor and she gave me sennakot which i am not happy with. i know the pain is Not caused by constipation because i am not constipated. i am truly worried about this as i do not cope with pain very well. Its really getting me down.My sister is 21 and last week had her gallbladder removed from stones. I am concerned i may have gallstones. but am more worried it may be something worse. x

Get a check up. A ultrasound & upper gi endo are indicated. Or it may be some intestinal parasites.
Good luck!
PS- I really appreciate the way how clearly you have described your symptoms. That is always a good help for a doctor.

It has been 6 weeks since my surgery and the pain didn’t start until the second week after

severe upper abdominal pain bloating

Severe Abdominal Pain every morning… what is this from?

For about the past 2-3 months i have been having reasonably painful stomach cramps in the morning. The pain usually goes away after I get moving, or eat something. I have never had this throughout my life. I am beginning to notice afternoon discomfort now. The pain is in the upper part of my stomach 2″ below the rib cage. I feel like im burning up but have no temperature, and I feel all this pressure in my ears and behind my face… its a weird feeling to explain. I also feel pretty bloated.

Is this normal gas or a problem that should be looked at?

You need to go to a doctor about this. You could be having enzyme problems, digestion issues, and even an intestinal blockage forming. So do go see a doctor.
