stomach cancer curable?
my gf has stomach cancer. she has a heart pain, she coughs out blood and she has a breathing problem. a few days ago her breathing stopped she was in a critical condition and then she was admitted in the hospital. She was given oxygen and injections twice a day to sleep well. She has exams from 15th of April to 26th of June. The doctor said till 26th of June use the medicines which i am advising you after that you should go for a regular treatment.
My question is what stage is this? is this curable? will she survive?
please tell me
We are deeply affected to learn of her condition and pray in earnest that she recovers from this terrible affliction!
You have not related how she came to know that she has stomach cancer and if biopsy or gastroscopy said it all or how far it has spread to liver, etc.- H. Pylori bacterium is the culprit
Yet, if it is so then the stage she is in is called “late” or “advance” stage. Usually in the early stages detecting or knowing the presence of a tumor is difficlt as there are no symptoms only suffering from indigestion or not “feeling hungry” are normal symptoms of ulcers or otherwise. Has “staging” been done to find the extent of the spread of malignant cancerous cells? If not it must be done immediately. Treatment and cure very much depend on the results of the “staging”. So look for the “stage” report and pray with me that it has not spread to the liver. The person could be cured though quite difficult if it is in it’s advance stage. But there are cases of individuals who have even survived after all the doctors had lost hope and that person was sent home to die!! Kindly, browse through: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Metastasis
